Attendees will gain an insight into two new local flower farming enterprises and will be shown the benefits of a seasonal and sustainable approach to cut flowers. Both flowers and food are seasonal by nature and we need more people to adopt a local and sustainable mindset when it comes to these commodities. It brings many positives.

The event includes demonstrations using fresh and dried flowers and you will bring home some samples of your own.
In addition, you will receive a fantastic micro plan for your own seasonal flower garden with a complimentary pack of milo&george seeds.

Annette Dalton, from Tralee, moved back home to Kerry in June this year after 20 years working in UK horticulture, including at Kew Gardens, Chelsea Flower Show and as a garden advisor to the National Trust and trained in Floristry in Italy and the UK. Amanda Foley (flowers from Milo & George) is relatively new to this world but is in love with flowers, in particular since the 2020 pandemic and wants to share her newfound passion with others that have little experience. The business started this year and can be found on Instagram and www.miloandgeorge.com
